Nafka is a brand which is a laboratory for developing and teaching sustainable design. It is an environmentally and socially friendly principle into the engine-driven network of designers and artists collaborating with artisans and SMEs to create Responsible lifestyle products made from waste, used and organic materials.
David Berman is a designer who has dedicated his expertise to realizing design’s potential to help improve the human condition and the global environment. He is the author of Do Good Design: How Design Can Help Repair The World (Peachpit/Pearson, 2009)
In 2009, David Berman was named a high-level advisor to the United Nations on how design can be used to help fulfill the Millennium Development Goals.
